Father's Day DIY Project : June 2016 : Decoupage Tablet cover
Take the cover apart so that the outer most part (the actual cover) has been separated from the inner sections. If the cover doesn't work like this, make sure you are working with the outermost, flattest part of the cover. Before cutting the image print or book cover to size, remember to leave a buffer / margin of about 1.5cm -2cm around this measurement for folding over the sides.
When you can run your hand over the top of the entire podged print without it feeling tacky it can be turned over. To be safe perhaps let it lie face down on a plastic bag. Now cut the corners as shown and apply some podge to the cover itself. Fold the print over the edge and apply pressure. Once again smooth out any bubbles before applying the top layer of podge. Give it time to dry properly.

Apply two to three more layers of podge to the cover leaving enough drying time between layers. Apply each layer at a 90 degree angle to the previous one to create a strong and even seal.
Once the cover has dried completely you can stick all the inside bits back inside the cover using Dala Styro glue. Sparingly though - so as to minimise mess and because it's so strong!
Make sure to apply some pressure and leave it to dry for about 20 - 30 minutes.
Once the cover has dried completely (glue and podge) you can put a tablet / phone back in and surprise dad with his awesome new comic covered case!
