Paint sky with cadmium orange mixed with a drop of painting medium Paint ocean with burnt umber and a drop of painting medium the painting medium reduces the drying time. Let painting dry.
Mix Cadmium yellow and a drop of painting medium and paint the area around the sun, a few streaks in the sky and above the horizon. Work a little white into the yellow close to the sun. Paint the sun white with a touch of yellow. Paint cadmium yellow below the horizon Build up water with little streaks of cadmium orange. Let painting dry.
Darken the waterjust below the horizon with a little cadmium light red adding a drop of painting medium. Add a few dabs of the red mixture into the water. Mix cadmium yellow and titanium white and dab a few highlights on the water. Define stalk by adding a mixture of burnt umber and a mixture of titanium white, cadmium yellow and cadmium orange for highlights.
